SH2 not giving me 1Gbps?

Weird things going on. SH2 doesn't want to give me 1Gbps wired for some reason.

Pretty sure it was fine before and can't think what's changed other than I wiped my SSD and did a clean install. Upgraded to W10 a few days ago and no change. Installed the very latest drivers from the Intel website as well and still nothing.

Ended up doing a test through one of the Intel features and got this back:

ethernet cable damaged maybe ? happened to me and had to replace mines.

Unfortunately I don't have another one long enough to each the PC across the room. Will get another one ordered today and see if that helps.

Does anyone know if the LEDs indicators on the SH2 refer to 100/1000 and if so, which is which? It appears my Xbox One is in the same boat if so..

Have you restarted the SH2? It appears from what you have said that you can connect at 100Mbs, I would have thought it unlikely that it was the cable unless you have done a restart.

Did a restart last night and still the same issue.

There's every likelihood that it's the cable if one of the pairs is broken or not punched down properly.

Ugh, didn't think about that. I did however try the original SH and was still only getting 100Mb. I've already ordered new cables however to replace my entire setup so we'll see how that goes down tomorrow.

One presumes you got 100Mbit on the SH1 with a different cable? In that case, the issue appears to be with your NIC.

Orange is 100mb and green is 1gb

New cable has done the trick. Back to glorious 152Mb.
