No iplayer channel 901 freesat on panasonic TV

I upgraded my Virgin service to 152mb at the weekend. I cant get iplayer on my tv all of a sudden.

All of a sudden I get "data channel" on my 901 channel on the freesat tv, so no iplayer.

TV has ethernet to the superhub and shows an ip addess. Swapped the cable too.

No firmware update available for the tv..

Retuned in all freesat channels.

What is the problem ?

Just tested it on my TV and you should use the red button on any BBC channel to get to the iplayer.

It won't be anything to do with Virgin but instead it'll be a software problem. It would happen often on my old sony bluray player when the BBC updated their software and either accidently went incompatible with the sony and it would take a few days/week to be corrected by the BBC or a new sony firmware.

Eventually the Sony was taken off the compatible list and now doesn't work at all on iplayer but it was older than your panasonic TV

Although a Daily Fail report here's an article you should read

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencete...years-old.html

It's one of the reasons as to why I went from using apps on a smart TV/player to running Kodi on a raspberry Pi
