It's because of bloody Boris and the Tory police cuts I reckon!! :mad:

We all know the police would like to fire more bullets to keep us all safe like they are in America but Osborne and Cameron won't let them. Toffs like them shoot as many bullets as they like when they're on their land but when it comes to the police they say there aren't enough or they're too expensive. They should hang their heads in shame!!! :mad:

This shows that the Police aren't the trigger happy executioners of black males despite how some in the media would like to portray them, the restraint shown by some armed cops in situations where shooting a suspect would be justified is amazing.

Armed officers are meant as a deterrent and NOT a tool so these figures show the system is working as best it can.

Just to be pedantic the stats do not refer to shots fired but incidents where firearms were discharged.

i own 6 myself so i feel safe enough ,i have no problem with armed response units but i don't want armed police on the streets 24/7 .
