Aerial Connection.

In my house I have two aerial connections, the living room one was changed when the digital swap-over took place. The bedroom one, I left the way it was as I had cable multi-room. Now i would like too use the Aerial connection again, would it work by changing the faceplate. Thanks in advance.

Why was the one in the living room changed? Digital switchover did not involve changing the kinds of connectors used to plug a terrestrial aerial into a TV. If there is something strange about the old aerial sockets in your house, we need to know what it is, before dishing out advice. Can you post a photo of the old socket in your bedroom?

The obvious question is have you actually plugged a TV into it & tried it?

If its a standard coax outlet & you have changed nothing between it and the aerial its connected too, it should work without problems. If you plug a TV set in & a retune doesnt bring in what you expect, thats when to start with the diagnostics. In other words, make sure its broke before you fix it!
