Do you mean Helvetica, and what version of Word do you have?

re: Helvetica
Any particular reason why someone has told you to use Helvetica?
|
re: Helvetica
According to http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articl...on-your-r-sum- , it's the best font to use on a CV.

re: Helvetica
I don't know if it is the reason the OP wants to use it but it is the mandatory font for tobacco price lists since the display ban.

re: Helvetica
You have to buy Helvetica to use it on Windows.

but I will change Times New Roman to Garamond. Never let me down. The reason is I submit my CV electronically, and if you use any "special font" that the person who downloads it doesn't have, their system will use another font and make it look crap. ---------- Post added at 17:36 ---------- Previous post was at 17:32 ---------- £153 for a font, well I cannot say my answer to that here. http://www.fonts.com/font/linotype/h...ca#product_top |

I always used PDFs after that |
re: Helvetica
I have Oriental font support loaded so Chinese and Japanese sites look correct. Most don't so they get loads of little squares with hex numbers in.
Same applies elsewhere. Using a default Windoze font is the most compatible approach or as you say a PDF. |
re: Helvetica
PDFs aren't really a solution given most people are unable or don't know how to actually put the font in the PDF.
|
re: Helvetica
Plus the fact agencies want word files so the take out information when they show your CV to clients.

re: Helvetica
