Virgin tv anywhere

Evening

I used to have the option when using the app on my iPad of watching my shows or a tv programme either on the iPad or tv when I clicked watch now.
However that has disappeared and now when i click on watch now it automatically changes the tv to my selected programme.

How come and why?

Any ideas how to get this back to normal please?

You have never been able to watch recordings from My Shows on a mobile device via TV Anywhere.

You can watch live TV on certain channels in the app. You will get the option to watch on iPad or TV for those channels. You'll never get it for recordings.

Sad really, as the US Tivo service has offered this for years, but we'll need to wait for Virgin to negotiate the relevant changes in their content provider contracts for this to happen. Unfortunately, they have given no indication of when (if ever) this will happen.

I think it would require new hardware. The US TiVos need a separate Stream box or a built-in Steam in the case of the Roamio. Of course I'd prefer that all recordings are cloud-based to begin with.
