viewing sky sports on TV anywhere
 

Does anybody know why there is an issue watching Sky Sports through the TV Anywhere app on an Android tablet. The only thing I like to watch is the football and it has been unavailable for months.

You cannot watch Sky Sports via TV Anywhere.

You can, as a Virgin Media customer, access Sky Sports through Sky's own app, using your Virgin Media Id and password as authorisation.

Since the contract with Sky was renewed, you now have to access Sky Sports directly via the Sky Sports app, using your My Virgin Media login details (and, unlike TV Anywhere which you can only watch with a WiFi connection, you can use the Sky Sports app on 3G & 4G as well).

I have been logging on through the sky sports app. It doesn't work you cannot view the sports channel you always get an error, it has been like this for a few months. I have spoken to VM they are telling me it's an issue with sky. I understand that sky are not going to do VM any favours but it needs to be sorted. Sky sports is part of the TV Anywhere package.

Sky Sports App works ok for me, both on wifi and 3g, on my old Nexus 4. Could you have a phone issue?

Sky sports has never been a part of the virgin TV anywhere package? It's available to watch via the sky sports app. My app is working fine. Maybe your phone hasn't been assigned as a registered device to view this? My sky sports app works fine.

Mines fine too. Sport and Movies on iphone 5c .

it stopped working for me on my samsung mobile and tablet 3 weeks ago i was told to uninstall it so i did now i have to wait till 1st may to add the devices again

I don't think it's a problem with my Samsung tablet I have spoken to VM they are telling me it's a sky issue and they are aware of it.

I will uninstall the sky sports app and re install it to see if that helps It's not something I had thought of doing as vm said they were aware of a problem
