Tivo activation?

I'm getting a TiVo box delivered later today.. What's the activation sequence\number?

Re: tivo activation?

Call the activation phone number - it'll be in the paperwork. Then connect up the box and switch on. Leave it to do its stuff for half an hour. Enjoy.

Thank you.. I presumed it would come with paperwork but have had it missing before now ;)

Well it should be there :).

I'll be very interested if you have any feedback on the installation process, by the way.

If I can add my 2p here I found the instructions clear enough to understand and the installation simple enough

Good luck kymmy

Sure, will put it up here..

Just had SMS to confirm delivery today and change of services letter has also just arrived. I'm adding TV to a previous BB and Phone only package.

If need be I can add more cable... though not sure how to put an F connector on RG213??? :p:

Phone number is 0800 953 9500. I had a self install on Tuesday. I like their definition of an automated line as you end up talking to a real person who sets everything going.

Installation was very simple.

Re: tivo activation?

Quick question... is the activation line automated or a person on the far end?

[edit] Arcimedes answered it whilst I typed :) [/edit]

Re: tivo activation?

It depends. Sometimes it's all automated.

Yep it was all automated in my case. Have done a quick report in this thread http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/62...l#post35773639
