You could always just sign up to the WWE Network for £9.99

And for new subscribers April is free - not much left of the month but Extreme Rules would be included in that.

No idea why there's a difference in price between Sky and VM but to be honest both companies must be taking a big hit in revenue from the PPVs given how much more value the Network is. I always assumed they'd try offering sweetners like competitions to win signed merch and tickets to live shows etc for people who order the events.

Seeing as neither Sky or VM offers PPVs for anything close to £9.99 I can't see why anyone would pay more especially when there's no contract/commitment and therefore you can just re-sign for any PPVs you like the look of, not to mention the Network-only shows they offer.

Also sky show in HD I don't think VM carry a HD box office

I've been a subscriber since last year, and it is great value. Not been able to stay up and watch a PPV live but at least I don't have to download it the next morning like I used to have to. My brother has got bored with WWE anyway, which was one of the main reasons for downloading in the first place.

Or use cyberghost free vpn set to usa to sign up set your country to USA and it will then only cost around £6.50p/m.
As Russ has said April is free for new subscribers anyway.

Yeah, I still pay the American rate which works out cheaper. Only because I keep the Unblock us service active for Netflix so might as well stay with US WWE Network.

Re: WWE Extreme Rules

The WWE PPV back in January did cost more to Sky Viewers.

So maybe the WWE PPVs in January, April, August and November will cost more an the rest.

Re: WWE Extreme Rules

Maybe it was an incentive for sky to sign up to a new contract with wwe? that they can charge less than their rivals??? still seems daft!

Or maybe it's VM putting more on the actual cost?

Seems there's a price variant across all platforms when it comes to SKY Box Office events.

Both SKY and Virgin Media are charging £19.95 for Mayweather v Pacquiao this Saturday, which is the highest price they've charged for a boxing PPV event. TalkTalk however are only charging £14.95!
