Legend of Grimrock (PC) without steam?

Does anybody know where I can get Legend of Grimrock (PC) without steam?

I don't want steam on my computer, as why install more crap that takes up system resources.

Just follow the buy link on their website. GOG links to #2 which then links to an offline buy for #1

It doesn't use resources on my laptop when not playing a game. I really don't get why people still think Steam is a dirty word.

I'd recommend using GOG then. It's DRM-free and it'll just give you an installer for the game so there's no Steam required.

Indeed, it's one of the best content distribution platforms out there, and that's not considering the value-add features.

Much rather have Steam than Origin or UPlay...

That said, Steam does use resources on your laptop when not playing any game. Technically, it uses resources permanently, 24/7, from the second you install it. More practically however, it's always using resources any time the client is running, whether or not you're playing a game. Even if you exit the client completely, there's still a background service that may run at intervals.
