Vandalising archaeological sites is deeply uncivilised and barbaric, but IMO we should reserve words like "depravity" for things like beheading, which of course is also in the ISIS playbook.

It is interesting to note that they have no qualms about selling any of the portable antiquities. I suppose that's all right as the money supports their cause.

Thats because ISIS has bombed the border on atleast 2 occasions.

Saudi has one of the largest airforces in the world, i wouldnt be suprised if they increased their air strikes more than what they are doing now.

Is what needs to happen, not our problem, we won't be thanked for helping and will suffer more later, it's one of theirs, they can go fix it.

I doubt it's sustainable as a 'state' for any length of time in any case, no infrastructure, no economy, no skilled people, hell they execute their own doctors.
