I kinda of wish the SH2AC's wireless could be bridged to one of the other LAN ports when in modem mode as the AP in it is actually pretty reasonable.

I suspect the odds for getting that one though as a feature request are between Zero and Nil given the average user wouldn't have a clue how to actually set things up in such a way for that to be useful

I'm not even sure if the ports could be independently switched.

You've seen the block diagram? It'll confirm your thoughts about modem mode.

They all do. But it's controlled by VM's "secure" firmware, so good luck...
