Email keeps opening up Gmail
 

Hi all of a sudden my virgin media email keeps opening up the Gmail log in page no matter which why I try to access my email (even via the my VM page) it just keeps loading up the gmail log in page anyone else had this issue? if so how did you resolve it?

Silly question has the "Keep me logged in" or similarly worded messaged been checked?

If I try to sign in it just brings a message up saying "Invalid request"

I should also point out I accessed my email's fine until a short time before I created this topic now out of nowhere it just keeps going to gmail

Not sure which browser you are using, or whether the solution to my problem could explain yours but if you use Firefox could your preference for VM have been changed to Google?

Click the menu button (3 stripes on right) and choose Preferences.
Select the Applications panel.
type: mailto in the search bar and select it.

I am using a loaned laptop set to Thunderbird and it took me a few frustrated tries to work out why I keep going there rather than Google.

Emails on my phone don't seem to be updating either.

It's firefox

I give it a refresh and I got onto the sign in screen fine........now I have the same Issue as Kev plus http://www.virginmedia.com/ is down. Next.........

I've just noticed that, also having DNS issues now as well.

Best walk away for a while, no point wasting time trying to fix something that may not even be broken once VM get their act together,
