Virgin Media signs £100 bill limit.
It was on the BBC News channel this morning that VM have, along with other companies, signed up to a scheme wheras a customer is to be made liable for only the first £100 of fraudulent costs arising as a result of theft or loss of their mobile phone.

£100 is still too much for the customer to be liable for.
How about when you reach your limits, you have to input a PIN to go over instead? |

That's too sensible an idea for companies wanting to make a profit. I tried to get my daughter's credit limit dropped to £20, but VM would not budge from the "standard" £50.

I recall when I had my Virgin Mobile contract they asked what credit limit I wanted - and I put it down to I think £50. That was for charges over and above the contract amount. That was quite a while ago, so they've always had something like that.
