Assault? That wouldn't stand up in a million years.

Maybe, maybe a breach but that's sketchy, the driver of the car looks and sounds like a twonk who I only wish had a full cup of coke chucked through the window to teach him a lesson.

I wish i had a cam with me when someone threw a can from a car a few years ago on a mainroad and i had to get 3 stitches on my eyebrow. It was mid afternoon i was at work crossing a road going back to the van.

I had to ring in to work to say what happened and had to goto hospital.

Welcome to the world of vigilante camera users. It's been mainly bikers using/exploiting them but as more car drivers get equipped, expect to see more clips of cyclists/pedestrians behaving badly. At the end of the day we're all humans and inconsiderate idiots are found attached to legs as well as wheels.

He shouldn't, but the video (as presented on the Daily Mail site, and seemingly what the Police saw) does not show that he did. Any halfway decent lawyer would have got that video thrown out of court, even assuming it was considered enough evidence for a prosecution by the CPS (or their Scottsh equivalent).

The prosecuting authority in Scotland is the Procurator Fiscal - often referred to in police procedurals like Rebus or Taggart as "the Fiscal's office".

i hate cyclists especially the prats with camera's , they need sorting out their always annoying motorists with their attitude its the police that police our roads not lycra louts .
