Looking for a Mini PCI card type IIIA that supports N

Is there such a thing that is easily available or would a nano USB adapter be better?

Not easily available new but there should be plenty on eBay. A Mini PCI card will probably outperform a USB adapter, especially if you are able to position the antenna in a good location.
