Virgin Giving up on copper wire
I'm afraid I don't know if this is old news to you Guy's, last night a friend of mine who gets VM via I assume BT copper had the below come through, VM Copper going over to TalkTalk, I'm wondering if at the transfer date my friends contract could be ended by her.

Re: Virgin Giving up on copper wire
Quite old news and a somewhat misleading title, as Virgin still uses copper for their cable network, it's just a different kind of copper.

She doesn't have to stay with Talk Talk. See last question at

Misleading indead, I read the title in my live bookmarks and thought VM were rolling out FTTH :( |
Re: Virgin Giving up on copper wire
VM 'gave up on copper' years ago, and haven't been allowing any new 'copper' sign-ups for quite some time.
