Jihadist admits terror offences

The 27-year-old admitted preparing for acts of terrorism, attending a camp, receiving training and possessing firearms in a hearing last year.

The case has only become reportable after his cousin admitted assisting his return from Syria to the UK.

If he was not born in this country then he should be sent back to the country of his birth or a jihadist country of his choice when he finishes his time at Her Majesty's pleasure.

I'd certainly have no problem with that. In fact it'd be a good test of these tough guys to see just how much they'd relish life outside the UK where they clearly feel so uncomfortable.

I'm sure some of these people will want to return here to do us harm but I reckon a far larger number will want to come back because they've had a taste of the alternatives and don't have the stomach for more. They probably won't be admitting it though...
