Trevor Ward- Davies or Dozy, as he was better known, has died age 70.
Dozy, who was the founding member of 60s pop group Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich died on Tuesday following a short illness.
The band, who were hugely popular in the Sixties, first had a hit with You Make It Move in 1965.
Between then and 1969 they spent more weeks in the UK single charts than the Beatles.
They had some fantastic hits..but that band name must have annoyed DJs everywhere.

One of the OHs favourite groups - and I must admit I quite liked them too.
RIP Dozy

Hearing that Dozy has died triggers a lot of memories. I can't believe he was 70, just goes to show that a lot of time has passed since I danced away to The Legend of Xanadu at the Bellevue New Elizabethan Top Ten Club.

RIP Trevor.
