Z3 Will it Work on EE
 

My wife's Virgin Media contract is due for renewal nest month and she does not want an upgrade,I fancy getting a Sony Z3 on her account as I pay the bill. Question is I am on EE/T Mobile I know Virgin use their network, will the Phone work on EE or will I have to get it unlocked? Its worth taking the deal as EE want £10.00 per month more for the same phone.

yes it will work as virgin use the EE/Tmobile/orange masts

I would advise you to take a look at the community virgin media mobile forum as some of the sony xperia and samsung models had a problem with not being able to recieve calls/texts while wifi is enabled. http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/...-p/OtherMobile

this is the reason i changed my phone due to this problem, but not sure if its all sorted now

Got a new Sony Xperia Z3 from my local Virgin Store yesterday and it works perfectly with my EE/T Mobile simcard.:)

Should have added I had to change Access Point Names (APN) in phone settings to use EE mobile data,but easy done.

Avoid EE, I amd leaving as soon as my contract ends in May or gladly pay too leave when O2 release the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.
