This is so sad. Like others before her all she wanted was the right to choose the time and place of her own death.

Sooner or later we're going to have to come up with a better compromise which protects the vulnerable but allows those of sound mind to determine their own fate without fear and without having to resort to starving themselves to death. I hope it's sooner...
