Rapigator website
I am having time out problems when I tried to connect to Rapidgator.net, I can access the site using Zenmate or with BT but not with Virgin. Any one else experiencing this problem?

Re: Rapigator website
I hate to say access to Rapidgator is dead again and only at Virgin, I can access it via Zenmate and my BT connection. There is something wrong somewhere.
Did a traceroute results as follows: Tracing route to rapidgator.net [195.211.221.116] over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.1.1 2 8 ms 7 ms 7 ms cpc20-macc3-2-0-gw.1-3.cable.virginm.net [86.10.249.1] 3 6 ms 6 ms 8 ms bagu-core-2b-xe-122-0.network.virginmedia.net [62.252.69.141] 4 10 ms 17 ms 9 ms leed-bb-1b-ae7-0.network.virginmedia.net [80.5.161.245] 5 * * * Request timed out. 6 * * * Request timed out. 7 14 ms 20 ms 19 ms nrth-bb-1c-ae1-0.network.virginmedia.net [62.254.42.222] 8 * * * Request timed out. |
Re: Rapigator website

Re: Rapigator website
On a similar theme is anyone on Virgin able to connect to arstechnica.com
Unable to connect using my home broadband for the past few weeks and it is a major US tech website but loads just fine on other ISPs. traceroute to arstechnica.com (50.31.151.33), 64 hops max, 72 byte packets 1 10.0.1.1 (10.0.1.1) 1.490 ms 0.226 ms 1.283 ms 2 cpcx-broox-2-0-gw.xx-x.cable.virginm.net (81.110.xx.x) 11.164 ms 95.464 ms 102.343 ms 3 renf-core-2b-xe-012-0.network.virginmedia.net (62.252.128.201) 11.770 ms 8.997 ms 11.766 ms 4 renf-core-2a-ae1-0.network.virginmedia.net (62.252.128.149) 11.652 ms 10.310 ms 10.500 ms 5 manc-bb-1c-ae13-0.network.virginmedia.net (62.253.174.37) 13.165 ms 15.265 ms 18.311 ms 6 ae0.man11.ip4.gtt.net (77.67.65.141) 27.563 ms 20.055 ms 20.932 ms 7 xe-10-3-0.chi12.ip4.gtt.net (141.136.106.13) 131.172 ms 137.897 ms 133.758 ms 8 as23352.chi12.ip4.gtt.net (199.229.229.214) 132.489 ms 138.427 ms 137.729 ms 9 ae4.cr1.ord6.us.scnet.net (204.93.204.85) 111.802 ms 111.074 ms 116.800 ms 10 71.ae1.ar1.ord6.us.scnet.net (204.93.204.153) 132.397 ms 138.768 ms 142.899 ms 11 * * * 12 * * * 13 * * * 14 * * * |
Re: Rapigator website
No problem here in Cardiff area.
My tracert also times out after the same point so that could be routers configured not to respond to pings which is not unusual. |

Re: Rapigator website
Access to Rapidgator.net is dead again today at 10:07am. Did a tracetcp and the result are as follows:

Re: Rapigator website
Still up when I checked @10.19
|
Re: Rapigator website
I can access the site with my BT line too, and also Virgin with Zenmate, just not Virgin on its own.
|
Re: Rapigator website
I actually used my neighbours VM connection to check.
|
Re: Rapigator website
Access now restored. Rapidgator confirmed that there were not blocking my IP address, and yet when I used another IP Address by swapping the router, I can get through. So the cause remains a mystery.
