Asus RT-N66U Traffic Manager
 

Hi i wonder if anyone can answer a question here.

A friend of mine has this router listed above and had it for a few months but has recently started to use the traffic manager to keep an eye on the amount that his son is downloading.

The problem is if the router gets restarted the router resets the traffic manager and starts all over again and doesnt save current download amount.

Does anyone know a way around this please?

You could try the merlin build. It will allow you to save the traffic info ( at a predetermined interval) to a disc attached to one of the USB ports.
