Credit where it's due
The wife's been getting annoying spam PFI/PA calls for a while now and a couple of times has found that when she checked her voicemail, the new messages left were from these pests and she'd had to pay for the privilege
of listening to them. Anyway, she called 150 earlier to explain the problem and disable her voicemail service and was given a £5 credit for her trouble. Well done VM. :tu: Now we just need to find a way to block these morons. Anyone got any ideas? |

you can register both landline and mobile |
Re: Credit where it's due
And if they still ring up, tell them you are on TPS, so could you have the company name so you can report them - they will take you off their calling list.

Re: Credit where it's due
Good point guys, we're signed up on our home phone but not mobiles. I'm so unpopular I don't even get spam calls :) but the wife's getting them regularly from the same few numbers.

Re: Credit where it's due
Fortunatelty my mobile has a reject number list so any SPAM callers get added to it including Vodafone who were trying to flog me a package when I have PAYG with them.
IIRC it's much more difficult for SPAM callers to anonymise a mobile call. |
