From my perspective the wireless signal reaches my new Mac whereas before I needed a power line adaptor |

AC doesn't change how far the signal 'reaches.

Unless there is a problem with the new shub2ac that has not yet come to light, i'd take the offer as it is more future proof. A lot of new devices (tablets, mobiles, etc.) now have ac wireless |
Re: Super hub 2 v's Super hub 2 AC ?
Except it still has the same top speed of 400Mbps like the SH1 and SH2.

Re: Super hub 2 v's Super hub 2 AC ?

Wait for the superhub 3 !!!
Dana Hashem, Virgin Media’s Spokesperson, told ISPreview.co.uk: “A small group of Virgin Media triallists are trying out a piece of equipment that features 802.11ac WiFi technology. We are always looking to bring the best products and services to our customers and will keep everyone updated as and when we bring anything new to our existing line-up.” |

You seem to have confused range with performance.
Nowhere in that article does it actually say range is better. |
