Are there still differences between the two platforms or is it all the same since the VM takeover of NTL/TW?

Re: The Langley and Bromley platforms

There is no Bromley platform any more. The main headend for the whole country is now Langley, with a backup system in Knowsley.

But there are still some network differences. All post-merger boxes automatically work out which network they are on and adapt accordingly.

No differences between NTL/Telewest areas but they are up to 10 differences between the two platforms of Virgin Media and Smallworld.
