im now getting 100m on wireless
 

i changed a few setting on the router and i seem to be 100 mb, can someone explain how i did this?

you tell us because you are the one who changed the settings. Tbh honest I don't believe there are any settings you could have changed that would deliver the increase in throughput to the wireless adapter on your laptop. If the speed test results are genuine then they are a false positive and I am not even going to go into explain how that happens.

If you set the "up to 300" instead of the default 144, then it can use 40MHz channel width instead of 20MHz - doubling the throughput - even when the laptop adapter is only N150 speed.

Using the 40MHz mode on 2.4GHz is a bit antisocial, as with the common channel 1,6,11 plan, there is only ONE 40MHZ channel, well, one and a half, as it can span up or down from the middle.
