Liberty's acquisition of Ziggo looks set to be approved by EC

"Liberty Global is poised to win European Union approval to buy Dutch cable operator Ziggo after it pledged to sell a TV channel [Film 1], according to two people familiar with the EU’s probe of the €4.9bn takeover."
