Virgin Media customers get Sky Movies and Sky Sports on the go.

Virgin Media customers with Sky Movies or Sky Sports subscriptions can now log in to the Sky Movies and Sky Sports apps for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch and watch their Sky Movies and Sky Sports channels online using their Virgin Media accounts.

Virgin Media customers can now take their Sky Sports channels on the go and access Sky’s rich sports data and analysis services for the first time.

The Sky apps are great and being able to use them over 3G on the go is fantastic.

If only VM came up with an app where you could watch TV Anywhere, oh wait....

Wouldn't use an Apple product even if you paid me. Overpriced, over hyped rubbish.

Sky News is now available through TV Anywhere (you've got WiFi) Andrew.

Hopefully VM will enable 3/4G streaming at some stage so that the app truly lives up to its name. Be great if they'd also add VOD to the app too like the browser version.

Having used the Sky apps to watch SSN on the go on my mobile and a couple of movies on demand on my iPad, it does show that VM are lagging behind on the app front.

What should be mentioned is that this only applies to Tivo users and not for users of Virgin+ boxes.

Given the subject of this thread, you are possibly misleading many people with your statement.

The TV Anywhere apps for iOS and Android are TiVo customers only but the Sky Sports and Movies apps are for all Virgin Media customers who have Sky Sports and/or Sky Movies.

This perhaps goes a long way to understanding why the Sky apps are being used to deliver Sky Premiums, rather than TV Anywhere.

Re: Virgin Media customers get Sky Movies and Sky Sports on the go.

Virgin media customers with sky sports now need to sign in on the sky website by clicking the virgin media logo to watch the sky sports channels https://skyid.sky.com/signin/sports?...h/sky-sports-2

You then need to set up a 4 digit PIN to access guidance rated content from Sky Sports and Sky Movies.
