SD channels with blocks on screen issue.
 

For the last few days many SD channels like Gold there has been lots of blocks on screen.

so could this be due to a low signal at my end?

is there anyway to check on signal levels?

It does sound like some sort of signal problem, though not necessarily low levels. Give those nice people at Virgin a call and they will check for you. If it's intermittent, wait until you actually have the problem before you call.
