Word help

Got Office 2013, and reading a Kindle book that is full of errors, so much so it is putting me off reading it. So I converted it into a .txt file and now cannot see an option to import into Word 2013. Is this feature still in, or will I need to use something different to edit the file?

Next to file name when you're browsing for a document, hit the drop down & select .txt as the file type.
