TP Link Powerline Adaptors connecting a router in each room
Hi all
Having suffered with bad wifi in my house I have purchased some TP Link power adaptor (TL-PA451KIT) which enables the Internet to be transferred via the power sockets in the house....to connect TV PC etc. Is it possible to simple plug another router in one of the adaptors in another room where I need wifi or do they not work that way ? Would appreciate any advice ... Many thanks for your time Regards Mike |

Homeplugs rarely go over 50meg. I don't recommend them at all

The best option is to turn off all internetting features on the second router and configure it as a dumb AP.
The easiest option is just the reset mentioned above and connecting the WAN port on the router to your homeplugs. |

Your second router will need it's gateway set as the IP address of your main internet connected router. So manually setup all the IP settings on the second router.
