Re: Another gaming pc build thread
The specs I quoted come to 1565 on dabs with OS , so doesn't look like a better deal to me , correct me if I'm wrong ?

Re: Another gaming pc build thread
The SSD needs changing as they recently changed the NAD on the V300

Re: Another gaming pc build thread
Looks more like you are trying to build an extreme overclocking machine than a gaming machine. Unless you are intent on squeezing every last micron of performance out of your components, you could save a good few hundred quid by buying better value kit that gives 90% the performance for 50% the price.
Just the other day we built a gaming machine capable of a full 60fps in many games at 4K resolution for under £1500. And £500 of that was for the 28" 4K monitor... |

Re: Another gaming pc build thread
Might want to add a couple of TB Hard drives to supplement your SSD.

Re: Another gaming pc build thread
Yeah agree, what's the best way of managing the storage between the drives seeing as the ssd is only 250gb
|
Re: Another gaming pc build thread
SSD solely for the OS, and the other drivers for program's and data
|
Re: Another gaming pc build thread
Nope SSD is very much for games as well as the OS. If you play anything on line, especially stuff like FPS that have large map files to load the SSD is the only way to go on a performance PC. Indeed, unless you play only one or two games a 240GB SSD may now be undersized.
