As bits you could end up with bits they don't want. As a whole PC the postage would be too much for many people to consider.
Local Gumtree perhaps with "buyer collects" ? |
Re: Sell pc as one or sell for parts?
I woudl consider bunging the pc isn a £20 generic case with cheap psu sell as an office machine complete with cheap keyboard mouse speakers and the screen for £200 with the standard sata drives
I assume the mobo has onboard gfx? use that instead leaving you the good keyboard mouse a nice case the gfx card and the psu sound card and 2 ssds ( I assume its good?) |

No the motherboard doesn't have a GFX card but I do have a spare gtx 460 I kept as a backup that I can stick in it also has 1 gig of ram.
it's unfortunate that we now live in a society of large smart phones, tablets and laptops that desktops are a dying trade these days I did consider selling the parts off the rest I might sell on gum tree failing that just give away what I can't sell...either way I need to the space soon as it's taking up a load of room in my living room and I have a baby that needs space for toys and stuff. I got a bit bored as well with building and messing about with pc parts and games these days cater for the middle man so you don't really need to upgrade pc's as much |

Re: Sell pc as one or sell for parts?
You would probably get about £150 for the base unit as a whole, and about £40 for the monitor.
Sell it as bit's and you might squeeze £200 for the base unit at a push and still get £40 for the monitor. Prices are based of what I was quoted of a site that I use where you can buy and sell 2nd hand components, and I have a AMD 965BE with a Crosshair Formula III board with 4Gb of ram sat on the shelf at the moment, because after 3 months it had not sold on any of the sites that I go on. It would probably sell on Ebay but not for what it's worth and Gumtree it would probably sell, but it would probably be someone who doesn't know what they are doing that bought it and would complain when they broke it. |
If you decide to split I'll give you £30 delivered for the 8gb ram and also £30 for the 128gb ssd.
Firm offer and cash waiting, if your not too far from Nottingham I'll collect.for the same price :) |
