POP3 collection stopped working from an NTLWorld mailbox

Over the weekend POP3 collection of email from my main account just stopped. My email client (on an Android Phone) had worked for months and still connects to the server with no errors, but no new email is found. I can send emails OK. I can see my email from other devices via IMAP.

I have tried deleting and re-entering the account on the phone AND disabling and re-enabling POP3 in the settings of the mail account via the web interface. I have also tried all the combinations of ntlworld and virginmedia domain names for the servers.

Anyone else having similar problems or know of a cure please?

Been a while since I dealt with email on Virgin, but I do remember that the settings are basically the same as gmail but with Virgin media domains. So try these incoming settings:

Server: pop3.virginmedia.com
SSL: Enabled (if there's an option, set it to TLS)
Port: 995
Account name: blahblah@ntlworld.com
(Male sure you type in the full email address).
Password: Your password, of course.

If it still doesn't work, log into webmail and change your password.
