Cleaning LED and LCD screans

Whats the best thing to use to clean these screens and how much pressure can be applied?

Just use a damp microfiber cloth. I wouldn't worry about pressure, wash it with the same respect you would on a mirror or window and you'll be fine.

I would treat it with a lot more respect than a mirror or a window LCD screens are very rarely glass

Don't press.

Don't let any dribbles happen.

Nothing even slightly abrasive.

No alcohol.

Read the manufacturers reccomendations.

The delicate bit is the polariser mounted on the front, that is generally made of plastic and doesn't like moisture or solvents and is soft so easily scratched. The manufacturer can advise whether a light solvent like alcohol can be used to remove greasy deposits.

Having said that you don't want to press hard on the screen as this puts a lot of stress on the glass components as well as any integrated electronics.

LCD Wiki

I did actually mean the outside face I did not explain myself to well

I use isopropyl alcohol and a tissue.

Never scratched or damaged a screen, glass, plastic, or otherwise.
