Channels unavailable
 
Hi,

Put the Tivo on this morning and nearly all of the channels are now greyed out. I only have Virgin freeview and rent the Tivo but had a decent selection. Now I have just 9 channels, none are HD. I restarted the Tivo but the issue remains. I haven't had any notice form VM that they are cutting freeview channels. Any ideas guys?

I have had a rootle about the net and can't find anything about the freeview services been cut or anyone else reporting that they have missing channels. the VM site is still showing 40+ channels being available. so I would just contact VM to see what is happening. You could try posting on their help site and see what the guys there say.

Sounds like a card issue. Try removing and cleaning the card.

If a reboot does not resolve the issue, what message are you getting?

The card may have become de-activated and require re activating by Virgin Media.

Cleaned the card and rebooted. It worked!! Thank you. I didn't even know it had a card until I poked about at the back.
