Leaving VM during a discount period.

Hi people

I hope I am worrying without a cause!

Is there some kind of penalty for leaving in a Loyalty discount period?

My contract is up on the 21st April but the loyalty period was for two years.

Could I possible find myself liable for any re-numeration?

Thanks

As long as you are out of contract it is fine I think. I have an 18 month loyalty discount, but I am only on a 12 month contract.

The penalty is they will forever know you as "The disloyal one". Until they forget.

...or the discount will become a surcharge should the OP return to Virgin Media in the future.

24 month loyalty discounts with 12 month tie-ins. It's all getting a bit desperate in this business.

Or you could choose to look at it in a less cynical manner. New customers get excellent deals (for obvious enticement reasons) and i for one am glad they also do loyalty discounts, we wouldn't be able to afford what we have without them these days. Disposable income we can use for entertainment is shrinking more and more as each year passes in our household.
