The Last of Us - Remastered (PS4)
 

Naughty Dog have announced a remastered version of the game for PS4 to release this year. Improvements are 1080p visuals, better textures and 60fps. Also the DLC will be included.

Rented it on PS3 and loved it. I can see Sony doing a decent PS4 bundle when this is released. It might be when I end up buying one.

Does make me want a PS4. Even though I already played it on the PS3. Although the PS4 is quite light on decent exclusives compared to the Xbox this year.

Had my PS4 since the weekend, and really glad i went for it, it's a great console, I have Destiny on Beta trial, and Infamous second son on it's way, and will have to get The last of Us, just from what I've heard of it, it looks great!.

I popped into ASDA on the way home before and they didn't have it. I thought it was supposed to be out on the 30th in Europe. I guess it's either not out yet or ASDA are not interested in selling it!

The higher framerate is meant to make quite a difference, for a start.

The UK isn't part of Europe when it comes to videogame release dates.

Unless a game has a worldwide release (and therefore comes out on a Tuesday, the standard day for the US), the UK date is almost always a Friday.

Such is the case for The Last of Us - Friday 1 August in the UK.

Thanks Matt, I wasn't sure since a couple of games recently came out here on a Tuesday.. iirc Gran Turismo 6 was one of them. Tomorrow it is then.

My local, useless ASDA (unless you want to buy wine ;)) didn't even have it on release day which meant a trip to game.

Wow what a fantastic looking game. Better in that respect than Watchdogs by a long margin. I did hold off buying this for PS3, glad that I did.

Blimey, some of the AI is shambolic though - run straight past a human enemy and they don't even notice. You would think that this is one of the areas they would address.
