Firefox 27.0.1 Download library issue
 

I'm using Firefox 27.0.1 on Windows 7 x64 Pro.

When i'm attempting to empty the download library by pressing clear downloads it causes firefox to just lock up.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled and its doing the same thing, anyone have any ideas?

Any point in me suggesting that you either go back to FF26 if that version didn't lock up, or swap over to FF28? I know it is the beta but it is very stable.

If FF continues to lock up using FF 26 or 28 it may help someone work out where your problem lies.

how long did you leave it? I know it sounds strange but when my partner and i did this it came up not responding and we left it over night and when we came back to it in the morning all was sorted and settled.

Delete/clear profile - run it using

firefox --profilemanager
