EA4500 and superhub in modem mode advice

Hi - here is some useful advice when using the Linksys EA4500 with the superhub in modem mode.
I have 120Mb virgin media service.

Using superhub in normal model as primary router, I get ~115Mbs
Switch to modem mode and
- use EA4500 with cloud connect firmware (v2.1.39.145204) - max download 75Mbs
- use EA4500 with old non-cloud connect firmware (v2.0.37.131047) - max download 126Mbs

Advice - the EA4500 cloud connect firmware throttles (unintentionally I am sure) max download throughput to 75Mbs.

If you have this you can rollback your firmware to the older non-throttled version here :

I have the same setup as you, (120Mb, SH1, Modem Mode) running the non-cloud connect firmware on EA4500, and also report download of 126Mbs.

I am pleased you posted as even though I have no problems, I have thought about giving the cloud firmware ago.

Thank you!

I use Xbox Live and have spent many days and hours trying different configurations of the setting on the EA4500 to improve my Live experience, and think I have found the optimum.

So if anyone has this setup and games and would like to know in more detail let me know.

Give and take.
