Hello....If anone sees this can u help me..cheers..I had ntc cable before virgin from about 2001 to 2007 or so...I then had cable installed again about 2008.Not long after it was installed i had them calling me saying i owed them money some time ado..why now im thinking,and i told them i didnt,they cut me off almost instantly.Then last year i sopoke to virgin and they asked me to get a copy of my birty cetificate a bill to fax it to them,which i done.My postcode was put onto your web when you go to join virgin,but after doing it on web,it was canceled almost stright away.Now 2 weeks ago i get a call from a virgin rep,who tellls me virgin will be ok if i give them a deposit...so i say ok,and on we go.He was from wythenshawe sales and called jez.He took 130 pound of me,sorted out the paperwork ect,gives me an instalation date for mon 24 feb. then a couple of days later he tell me my inslalation and all was cancelled,and i could do nothing about it.Money was send back to my account 3 days later.I am so mad after what virgin have done in my local area.They must be wriping me off,im ok im sure,yet it seams to be one person who is doing this to me and also years ago the same thing has been done,it must be them again.I am being singled out and treated unfair.I have had sky tv switched off my broadband will be off in 2 days and phone off due to cable install last week.I want 60mg broadband as i only get 3megs,want full tv pack,and the phone,i have on the web asked for it to be installed again this week could you sort it out for me,im genuine.I applied for premiere pack costing £25 a month for 6 month,then £50 after.My MOD EDIT.and i put the order through about 5 days ago,they will have it on computer..I have tried so many times using false names cause i needed cable putting in,but they never will.Put me back on nasap as my broadband will be down,have a word,tell them in cool.ste

So you've tried to get service using false names. That will have done wonders for your credibility.

I suggest you get hold of a credit report for your real identity and see if that gives you a clue to the problem. But fundamentaly if somewhere says you owe money to VM or their predecessor until that is cleared why do you expect they would give you another service?

the credit report will not show debts over 6 years old as they are automatically wiped from the report so the 2001 to 2007 era will not show

Using false names is not something you want to admit to publically. Especially where Virgin will have access to this plce.

Virgin have no more access to this forum than any of it's members do. It's a privately run forum, owned by Frank, Paul M and Mick. How would they know who any of the members are?

That is fraud, and it's extremely likely that there's now a CIFAS entry against that address.

I am at a loss as to why any honest person would want to use false names :shrug: as Ignitionnet has stated this is fraud ...
