The trouble with these sites is you get people like me :LOL: who relate to problems they are having by doing a self diagnose therefore causing unnecessary fear and worry, I know I did that when they discovered a bowel polyp, I had myself with cancer and dead within a year, so I personally avoid these sites as I am a bit of a worrier by nature anyway ... ;)

Currently going through cancer tests for bowel and bladder.
I avoid sites like that, don't want to get too worried.

Heath websites are like facts on Wikipedia, 80% are true and the other 30% are crap :D

My GP actually considers the main NHS site a bit (to use his phrase) of a double edged sword because while it helps people cure themselves it also tells them the right symptoms.

The main problem is some minor aliments, could have a similar symptom to a major illness, so you end up fearing the worst.

That site looks good also.....

I checked the health section and looked for TINNITUS....... I have recently learned TINNITUS is a BRAIN DISORDER,not an ear problem......

There is stuff you can take but I have to look it up as I forgot what it is......
