Occsional picture break up - New box not sorted problem
I've had occasional problems with the picture breaking up on all channels on my TiVo, most of the time it's just for a second or two but can be a few seconds. I phoned 150 last week & the lady I spoke to said power levels were low.
Anyway a guy came the next day & said power levels were fine & I saw on the meter they were. He took the box to the van & after testing said it had issues on 2 tuners & replaced it with a Samsung (special dim LED version) The engineer has been before & always does a good job - Problem is the new box is just the same still getting picture breakup, whether HD channels or not - I have 2 other (new) V-Boxes that I've not noticed any problems but the one I use upstairs don't get used much & the other in my daughter's room she says hasn't had problems but not sure she has paid much attention. Seems odd that two boxes have exactly the same problem, does anyone think low power could be intermittent? My phone & 120 broadband work perfectly. |

Does it happen any time of the day or is it only noticeable later on from 4-5pm onwards?

Interesting point! It's usually later in the day I have problems.

I notice a distinct lack of interest over in the Virgin forum to my problem, looks like it's dialing 150 when I've got some time on my hands.
