Cisco Award
Hi,
I was hoping someone might help, i'm hoping a few people on here have looked into this at some point or another. I've been looking into trying to get a Cisco qualification, not so much as to get a specific job or promotion but it generally looks good on the CV and lets managers know I don't just want to plod along at my current level. Theres plenty of online stuff, however i'd prefer a little face to face learning as I feel it would motivate me more, knowing someone is expecting me to learn different topics each week. A local college is providing a "CCNA Exploration course", however this doesn't appear anywhere on the Cisco website.. I can find info on it but I'm starting to think its a dumbed down version or not a complete version of the full CCNA, which I believe is made up of 8 modules. Anyone ever done the Exploration course or knows about the different Cisco qualifications ?? Thanks in advance :dunce: |
Re: Cisco Award
The CCNA exploration course primes you for the core exam to gain the full CCNA qualification.
See if you can blag some 200-120 (that's the full, combined exam module) practice exams from someone, that should give you a feel for what to expect and how much swotting you'll need to do. |
Re: Cisco Award
The Cisco CCNA qualification is a very tough path...you need to know VLANs, Routing, Spanning Tree and everything else TCP IP related inside out, back to front whilst standing on your head whilst holding an apple in one hand and a orange in the other.
It is seriously not one to be messed with. |
