Need help connecting a router. I cannot figure out how to get this router working! Please any help would be appreciated. I'm trying to connect my Virgin Superhub (VMDG480) to a TP-Link router (TL-WR841N). I put the Superhub into modem mode and have an ethernet cable in the the rightmost jack connected to the WAN port of the router. A second ethernet cable connects the router to my computer. When I log into the setup (192.168.0.1) and go through the quick setup it tells me I have a static IP. It then asks me for: -IP Address: -Subnet Mask: -Default Gateway: (Optional) -Primary DNS: (Optional) -Secondary DNS: (Optional) I don't know what to put in the fields to get it to work. Any help would be very much appreciated. I've tried searching but I can't find any solutions. |

Re: Need help connecting a router. Sounds as though your PC needs to be set to obtain an IP address automatically - you can check this in the settings for your NIC |
