Need help connecting a router.

I cannot figure out how to get this router working! Please any help would be appreciated.

I'm trying to connect my Virgin Superhub (VMDG480) to a TP-Link router (TL-WR841N). I put the Superhub into modem mode and have an ethernet cable in the the rightmost jack connected to the WAN port of the router. A second ethernet cable connects the router to my computer.

When I log into the setup (192.168.0.1) and go through the quick setup it tells me I have a static IP. It then asks me for:
-IP Address:
-Subnet Mask:
-Default Gateway: (Optional)
-Primary DNS: (Optional)
-Secondary DNS: (Optional)

I don't know what to put in the fields to get it to work.
Any help would be very much appreciated. I've tried searching but I can't find any solutions.

have you rebooted the superhub so it can assign a new ip

Sounds as though your PC needs to be set to obtain an IP address automatically - you can check this in the settings for your NIC

I've checked. I think it already set that way.

Did you boot up in the correct order?

First the SH, wait for the top light to go blue, can take some time. Then boot the router, finally boot the PC*.

As you can access the routers config pages I think the DHCP off the router is working right. If the boot order is correct the SH should furnish the router with the IP, DNS etc.

*The PC re-boot can be avoided by using ipconfig /release
and then ipconfig /renew from the CLI. (cmd)

I've gone through and done this now and still the same as original post.
