abortive visit charges
just a thought really, how can openreach charge a cp for a no access or abortive visit when they ( when contractors attend ) they are not actually incurring any ( engineering visit ) costs.
ive had a few of these lately and it grates that we ( contractors ) dont get paid for these wasted journeys but openreach charge the cp's. |
Re: abortive visit charges
Must be part of the deal to encourage cps to keep trying to get the customer in

Re: abortive visit charges
The company I work for also charges for no access/abortive visits. The chargeisn't as much as the full job, but I assume it is to cover the cost of lost productivity and fixed costs associated with the job, transport costs, office costs for dealing with the schedule etc.
