Only on some programmes. The red screen when the local news is on is in 5.1 ;-)

Can someone 'Spiderplant' confirm to me if the 5.1 feed is out on BBC1 HD. If so the company that manages the feed ought to be fired. This has happened so many times now. I need to know that's it's not my tivo although other channels are 5.1 OK. This is the BBC flagship channel......sort it out.

Re: BBC1 HD No 5.1

The plot thickens. I've just rebooted my 1T Tivo and the BBC HD 5.1 feed has returned. This has happened before in the past after a reboot. So is it a software fault with the Tivo after it updates and needs to reboot before it works properly or has the company that runs the feed for the BBC read my post and sorted it? I have not restarted the Tivo for quite some time so this may have been going on for weeks and only noticed no 5.1 about a week ago.

I've seen enough reports of this over the years to be confident it is a software bug, but it isn't a "known error" as such. For now all I can suggest is to reboot when you notice it has happened.

Thankyou spiderplant.

Anyone know how I can find out what audio feed is being put out for each programme?
