Downgrading query
 

i am looking to try and save a few £ on my monthly bill. i have contacted VM a couple of times and been given different info each time.I am a bit confused.

I am currently on the Premiere Collection as follows
60mb BB
XL tv
XL tel
1 x 1Tb iTvo and 1 x 500Gb Tivo
currently £75.99 pm

No Premier content or HD premium.

i thought i was on a loyalty discount but apparently i am getting the 2nd outlet (tivo) discounted- not sure how much the full price should be on this bundle -maybe someone could clarify please so i can see what i am saving?

i have seen a new collection advertised 'Essential Family Collection' still XL tv but BB down to 30mb- that would be ok (and i think the speeds are due to increase to 50mb later this year anyway) and tel down one tier to L.

as i say i have contacted VM re possibly changing to this pack but have been given different info each time.

i want to keep the 2 tivos i have but one rep said you cant have a 2nd Tivo on the 'Essential Family Collection' - another did not say this so i am confused.

Could someone (maybe a VM employee?) advise me what it would cost to have the Essential Family Collection with the 2 tivos i have.i thats at all possible? Are you able to change some elements eg tel at XL rather than L as well ?

if i change pack would i still get the 2nd Tivo on discount as originally agreed on installation as i have been told i am not on a loyalty discount.
btw i have had the 2 tivos for about 18 months i think
any help appreciated

The Essential Family Collection is £54.99 and has only Phone M.

To add a second TiVo adds £11.50 per month, making the monthly total £66.49.

thanks for the info mate.

i have worked out my current package on the VM bundle builder is £80.99- so i am saving £5 pm on that at present with the discount on the 2nd box

i see where you have got the £66.49 figure but when i customise it on the VM website with 2 tivos it quotes me £73.49?

upgrading the phone to L adds another £4.60. so dropping the BB and tel down i tier from what i currently have doesnt save me much at all - £2.90 i think- on the full price and would i then lose this £5 discount i currently seem to have? if so i could end up paying more??

i had hoped this new Essential Family Collection would save me say a tenner without giving up all that much -just dropping the BB and tel a bit- maybe it wont though.
