XBox360 Setting up account for child ?
 

Hi all

We have just purchased an Xbox 360 and now want to set up an account to purchase a game for my 13 old year daughter to play.

Do I set up an account against my profile and then buy the game...if so will my daughter be able to access from the Xbox under her profile ?

If not does my daughter set up an account and how is security work in terms of buying future games (ie do I set a password)

Would appreciate any advice

Purchased content (whole games, DLC, etc.) is tied to two things:

- The Xbox Live account that purchased it.

- The original console it was downloaded to.


As such:

- The purchasing account can access the content on any console it signs in on.

- Any account can access the content on the original console.



I have no idea though about Child Accounts or parental controls. I found a few links that may help:

Set it up as an adult account and put parental controls, life will be much simpler
